GEVA is a program that supports Vietnamese enterprises in enhancing their export capacity through the effective adoption of Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS) — especially to meet the increasingly stringent demands of advanced markets such as the EU, USA, Canada, Australia.

The project is part of the SwissTrade program, funded by the Government of Switzerland through the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), managed by the International Trade Centre (ITC), and implemented by KisStartup from April 2025 to April 2026. Our main activities include: 

1. Developing Online Green Export Assessment Tools

The project has built and launched free online self-assessment tools to help businesses:

  • Measure their export readiness and adapt their business models

  • Assess their overall compliance with agricultural VSS (e.g., Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance, EU Organic)

Upon completion, businesses will receive a summary report, enabling them to gradually improve access to green export markets

2. Green Export Capacity Building and Market Connection Confereneces

Available for all green export - orieneted businesses and individuals, this program aims to:

  • Provide knowledge and skills on green export, VSS, and sustainable business models

  • Facilitate direct connections with international buyers and partners via market connection events to the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, ASEAN, and the Middle East

3. Green Export Incubation and Acceleration Program

The project provides tailored support for 23 businesses in the spices, coffee, and nuts sectors, including:

  • 6 months of one-on-one coaching, with weekly 1-hour sessions per selected businesses

  • Customized content designed based on field surveys and actual business demands

  • Focus on three core areas: green export, business model innovation, and VSS compliance

GEVA is more than just a technical assistance project — it is a long-term partnership to help Vietnamese businesses transform sustainably, boost competitiveness, and expand globally.
