Econwrap develops its business model around the production and supply of PE food wrapping film for both consumers and F&B businesses. Unlike approaches that focus primarily on replacing plastic materials, Econwrap’s “green” value lies in the benefits created during product use: more effective food preservation, extended usability, and reduced food waste.

Creating Green Value through Product Functionality
Econwrap’s business model focuses on creating positive impact through the actual use of its products. At the household level, the food wrap helps preserve vegetables, fruits, cut food, and leftovers, helping reduce unnecessary food disposal.
At the business level, the product can be used by restaurants, hotels, catering services, commercial kitchens, and F&B businesses to preserve ingredients, prepared food, and finished dishes, helping reduce food loss and operating costs.
By combining B2C and B2B models, Econwrap can extend this value from household kitchens to the daily operations of food businesses.
Food Safety and Quality Control
Econwrap uses virgin Polyethylene (PE) without recycled plastic content to meet safety requirements for direct food contact. The company also focuses on quality requirements and international standards. Its food wrapping film has been evaluated by TÜV Rheinland against European standards, providing a foundation for Econwrap to access markets with high requirements for food safety and regulatory compliance. This focus on safety, quality, and product control is an important part of building a reliable supply chain, particularly for international buyers.
Reaching Diverse Customers and International Markets
Econwrap serves a wide range of customers, from households and individual consumers to restaurants, hotels, commercial kitchens, food-processing businesses, importers, and distributors.
The products have also been used in markets including the United States, Cuba, Japan, Australia, and Sweden, demonstrating the ability of a Vietnamese product to meet diverse customer needs in international markets.
At the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo, the Econwrap booth welcomed more than 100 trade visitors and international buyer delegations who came to explore and discuss the products. The event also gave the company an opportunity to directly observe market demand and collect buyer feedback on dimensions, packaging formats, product features, applications, and commercial requirements.
The Green Export booth’s shared catalogue, which included information about Econwrap, was also shared by the KisStartup team with approximately 100 importers and buyers through connections made during the expo.
Through its participation in the expo, Econwrap can continue developing its products and sales materials for different customer segments, from B2C/Retail and HoReCa & Food Service to Importers/Distributors, rather than using a single product and message across all markets.
