On August 21, 2025, the Green Export Training Program continued in Ho Chi Minh City with its third session, attracting more than 40 participants, including representatives of businesses interested in green exports and sustainable development.
Keynote Speaker: Mr. Phan Đình Tuấn Anh – CEO & Founder, Angel4Us
With the theme “Integrating ESG (Environmental – Social – Governance) into Business Models”, Mr. Tuấn Anh provided participants with a comprehensive and insightful perspective:
-
ESG is not only a set of “international benchmarks” but also a guiding principle for businesses in their journey to enhance competitiveness, especially when entering demanding markets such as the EU, the US, and Japan.
-
Integrating ESG into business models should begin with small, tailored adjustments specific to each enterprise, creating sustainable impact and fostering internal alignment.
Beyond knowledge sharing, Mr. Tuấn Anh also facilitated group discussions, encouraging active interaction and connecting participants with real-world case studies presented by guest speakers.
Guest Speakers & Practical Insights
The session welcomed two guest speakers, both representing businesses that have successfully applied ESG into their business models:
-
Ms. Lê Thảo Nhiên – Chief Transformation Officer, Hải Triều Watch
She shared the company’s journey of embedding ESG into its operational strategy. From initial challenges when the business model had to change, to starting with small adjustments that helped employees understand and support the process. She emphasized: “Celebrating early achievements helps spread the ESG spirit across the organization and build long-term cohesion.” -
Mr. Trần Lâm – CEO, Natural House
Coming from the agricultural production and supply chain sector, he shared his practical experience in transitioning to an organic model and engaging farmers to adopt greener practices. As an e-commerce expert, he also highlighted emerging trends in online business and strategies to help enterprises optimize sales on digital platforms.
A Vibrant and Practical Learning Atmosphere
The session was lively and engaging, with many questions and direct exchanges between participants and experts. Practical sharing and open discussions helped businesses:
-
Identify clear pathways to integrate ESG within their own organizations.
-
Understand strategic yet feasible steps to begin the “greening” of their business models.
-
Recognize the long-term value of transformation—not only for export markets but also for the sustainable growth of Vietnamese enterprises.
Key Takeaways from Session 3
The journey to green business models is not easy, but it is absolutely achievable with the commitment of leadership, employees, and supply chain partners. More importantly, ESG is no longer just a passing trend—it has become an essential requirement for enterprises to survive and grow in a globalized world.
The Green Export Training Program will continue with more in-depth topics, accompanying Vietnamese enterprises on their journey to conquer international markets in a green – sustainable – effective way.
