On August 16, 2025, the GEVA Project officially launched the Green Export Training Program in Ho Chi Minh City, attracting the participation of more than 40 enterprises in the agriculture and food sectors. This program series plays a crucial role in supporting Vietnamese businesses to enhance competitiveness, meet sustainability standards, and gradually integrate deeper into global supply chains.

The first session was led by Mr. Phan Đình Tuấn Anh – CEO & Founder of Angel4Us. With extensive experience in business strategy consulting, innovation, and sustainable development, he provided participants with a comprehensive perspective on:

  • Business models – the foundation of every growth strategy, from complying with international standards and applying green solutions to digital transformation.

  • ESG integration (Environmental – Social – Governance) – a key factor not only for regulatory compliance but also for building long-term competitive advantage.

  • Global green economy trends – the impact of international trade policies and the growing opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural products as consumers and importers increasingly prioritize “green and sustainable” products.

In an engaging and interactive atmosphere, participants not only gained updated knowledge but also took part in hands-on activities:

  • Business Model Canvas – The speaker provided detailed guidance on building and refining business models using international frameworks, helping enterprises clearly identify target customers, distribution channels, core values, and required resources.

  • Green export readiness assessment – Through group discussions, businesses assessed their own “strengths and weaknesses,” enabling them to plan improvements and align with export market requirements.

  • Practical sharing – Many enterprises shared real challenges and experiences in approaching international markets, fostering meaningful and relatable discussions.

The “Green Export Incubation and Acceleration through Voluntary Sustainability Standards (VSS)” program is funded by the Swiss Government, co-managed by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and implemented by KisStartup JSC during April 2025 – April 2026.

The project aims to enhance Vietnam’s green export capacity (through the application of VSS) via training, consulting, incubation–acceleration, and international market linkages, helping businesses meet the increasingly stringent requirements of global markets.
